Hey everyone,
STOP reading useless sites about Celiac disease. Don't waste your time searching for answers just ask me. And tell me how your figured out how you became a Celiac. My mother is a chef and is very creative with her food. She has already made a couple of wheat free gluten free dishes. And please share any dishes you have created yourself and I will share my dishes with you. Celiac disease is a disease that damages your stomach lining, and your small intestine. Celiac disease is very common today because company's have put wheat and gluten in everything you eat. Gluten is the sticky substance found in the wheat plant, gluten is also found in rye and barley. Gluten is what holds most of your foods together. Some food brands I recommend are "Bob's Red Mill, Earth balance, Amy's, Blue Diamond, So Delicious, Ian's Natural Foods, Tom's of Maine." "Bob's Red Mill" is something you will have to get because their powders will replace normal flour and etc. The powders from "Bob's Red Mill" are the Xanthan gum, Tapioca, and the Sorghum flour, those are all wheat free gluten free. The "Earth Balance" butter is really good, I bake with it and cook with it. "Amy's" is the best, their macaroni and cheese is really good and their wheat free gluten free pizza is really good too. "Blue Diamond" has great crackers for snacks. "So Delicious" is a great product to use, they have great Ice Cream the is wheat free gluten free and many other things that are great for celiacs! "Tom's of Maine" is really good, I use their tooth paste and other products. If trying to find a good wheat free gluten free tooth paste use "Tom's of Maine"! When you are a Celiac you have to be really careful of your bones because when you also have some Dairy intolerance too. To prevent broken bones you will want to take some multivitamins and a fiber supplement. But make sure you call the company and ask if it has wheat or gluten in it and it should not be manufactured with any wheat or gluten. Great stores to find wheat free gluten free products are "Whole Foods", and "Trader Joe's." "Whole Foods has a great wheat free gluten free bakery!!
